      <image:title>Bio - I’m Nicole - a Clinical Psychologist based in Wollongong, Australia.</image:title>
<image:caption>I completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wollongong, and I’ve now worked as a therapist in private practice for four years. I work with people dealing with mental health difficulties ranging from anxiety to complex personality disorders, and have a special interest in eating disorders. I have experience in evidence-based treatment for eating disorders (CBT-E), and worked as a Research Psychologist at Western Sydney University on a trial aimed at helping people dealing with binge-eating issues and obesity. I use therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT); Schema-Focused Therapy; and take a broadly psychodynamic approach to treatment. I write about psychological concepts and my own experiences to help organise my thoughts, and hopefully help others think about things differently! Of course, in line with professional ethics I never share confidential information from my work with clients.</image:caption>
